CLARA - My favourite place

My favourite place in Montevideo is the shopping center, in Montevideo there are five shopping centers but for me the most beautiful is "Punta Carretas Shopping".
I like going there with friends or with my mum, when I go with my friends I usually go to Mc Donald's and sometimes to the cinema but when I go with my mum we buy cute things.
In the shopping center there are a lot of shops my favourites are "Daniel Cassin" and "Zara",and also there are a lot of shops where you can buy lovely things.

 Montevideo promenade

 This is my favourite place in Montevideo. It´s a peaceful place and it’s beautiful.

It´s great because I can swim in the river.

And I can play football there too.

It´s   two  blocks  from  my  house  so  I can  go anytime.

My favourite place in Montevideo - Juan Bonanata

The Botanical Garden is the first and the only botanical garden in the country. It’s known for its important work in the teaching of botany. The Garden also can function as a center of scientific activities, as well as information and training in botanical science to the public.

 

   In their trips the visitors may know the plants of different geographical areas of the planet and a large collection of  aquatic plants, dried plants and shade plants.

   Visitors can arrive at the garden from different areas of the city travelling on van or public transport.

The creator of the Botanical Garden was the French landscape and architect Charles Racine.

The Botanic Gardens Museum is named Lombardo because Lombardo was born here and lived there all his life.

My favourite places in Montevideo - Andrés

NUEVA HELVECIA

 

This is a city wich is situated in the west of Uruguay  like it becuase here therei s a hotel which i love it. Here you have many things to do like play football,  basketball temnis and many other sports. In that place you have a lot more  free life than you have in the city because i' s very  quiet so I love it. I' m not quiet but that city has something special, so I love it.

Do many other things that in the rest of the zoo  cant do becuase they havent got any space apart of this there are broilers tables and chairs and they re too a way for walk ran or things like this i think that its a very beautiful place.

The promendade

 I chose this place because I love  it, the reasons are that the view is beautiful, and you can enjoy the sea when you walk here, or you can eat some biscuits with “mate”, it’s a tradition of my country, after all this is a place where you can clear your mind and feel the breeze of the air.

My favourite place - Melina

One of my favourite places in Montevideo is The Solís theater that is the oldest theater  in Uruguay. It Is located in the Old City neighborhood. The main entrance of the theater is on Buenos Aires street, Bartolommeo Mitre corner. It is the main artistic `place in the city of Montevideo.

 

 

It has has thecharacteristics of  lyric theaters, With  four rings. 

 In its stage there  have been successful orchestras, and people of great national and international Importance. His name is in honor  to the navigator Juan Diaz de Solis and the construction work began in 1842, it was Inaugurated in 1856 with Verdi’s Ermine Opera.

My favourite place in Montevideo - Gastón

Well, this is going to be the stadium of Nacional, now it is being rebuilt. In June the construction is going to be finished. It’s going to have room for 40.000 people (30.000 seats). It will be the second biggest stadium in Uruguay (the first is the Centenario).

I always go to watch my team with my father and brother.

 

My favourite place in Montevideo - Iván Ganemian

 This is the coast of uruguay. Here most of people ARE used to walking and running. Here the people do a lot of exercise. This place is very beautiful. Here you can play football in the beach. Also you can PLAY volleyball. this is a traditional place of uruguay. In the last ten years the “Coca Cola” company used to through fireworks in the coast. That was very beautiful.

 This is the AMUSMENT park in uruguay,  iT¡s name is “parque rodo”. It has that name because “rodo” is the surname of a very important WRITER of uruguay. In this  place you can have fun and you can go with your family and have a great time. In this place is the most exciting roller coaster In the world. It is very old but is very fast. THere ARE a lot of RIDES.  This park is near the coast

My favourite places in Montevideo - Nicolás

This is the sport center where I do sports, especially basketball. It is called “Club Bigua”.

 I like it because it is really big and complete. Also it has a very large open swimming pool, where I go in the summer. I have been going to this place since I was 4 years old. 

 

This is the coast of Montevideo, which has a promenade where people walk, run or ride bikes.

Many people go to this beach in the summer and they enjoy very much this place. The water is warm, so the people can bathe here.

My favourite places in Montevideo - Sofía

My favourite places to go in Montevideo are the Shopping Centres.

There are 4 shopping centres here. One is called ‘Montevideo Shopping’ and it’s my favourite, the others are ‘Punta Carretas’, ‘Portones’ and ‘Tres Cruces’.

I like to go there with my friends. We go bowling or to the cinema, to have an ice cream or to have a hamburger in McDonald’s.

Sometimes I go shopping with my mum or my brother and my sister.

The building of ‘Punta Carretas’ shopping centre used to be a jail and there were a lot of prisoners, but many years ago the jail closed and it’s a beautiful shopping centre.

In Christmas they decorate a big Christmas tree.

My favourite place - Martin

Piriapolis is a city that is about 100 km form Montevideo and I chose this place because I have been going there since I was born.  It would be like my “second city”.

It’s a beautiful place surrounded by hills, and beautiful beaches in the east. I learned surfing there and it’s still one of my favourite places for the holidays. The port is huge and there is a lot of sailing here and I love that. There is also nightlife, the centre is full of shops and it’s on the coast! Cheap prices and nice people make this an attractive place.

My favourite place - Julen

This is photo of the coast of Montevideo. This specific place is the Pocitos Beach, that is a very nice one and lot of people go there in summer. Also, I live at a few blocks away from there, nearby the World Trade Center Montevideo

 This is the WTC Montevideo. It´s 2 blocks away from my house, and it´s really beautiful. It´s near the Montevideo Shopping. There are 3 towers in the photo, but there is another under construction!

My favourite place - Juan Ignacio

Bigua is one of the best sport clubs in Uruguay. Is located in an enormous square near the coast. There, I practice swimming. Bigua won twelve consecutives times the federal championship, also is the only club that has swimmers who are going to represent Uruguay at the Olympic Games in London. They are, Gabriel Melconian and his brother Martin Melconian. At Bigua you can also find many other sports to choose from football to skate. 

 

Lucas - My favourite place

This is the PSG field. It is one of the most important Rugby teams in Uruguay.

This year I began to play in the formative ones of the club. It is a very good experience. Up to the moment I have learned many new things.

Every Tuesday and Thursday I practice rugby. We do a lot of  physical training; it is exhausting. At the moment I am playing the Uruguayan championship. On Sundays I play against different teams of the first division. I play at the position called Wing.  I have to run a lot and very fast. 

Mishel - My favorite part of city

I have several favorite places/ There are my school Krupski, Opera yard, 16 yard and Northern Avenue.
I love my school because Krupski us the best school in Armenia, my school is very beautiful my teachers are very intellectual and they are really good example for us and in my school the time passes by quickly, because except for learning I have a great time there.

I love Opera yard because in Opera came different people and majority of them are teenagers. Teenager skaters, teenager rapers, teenagers dancers, teenager bikers, teenager rollers and etc.

I love  yard because it is behind my school and when we run away from classes we always go to 16 yard.

I love Northern Avenue for the same reasons as Opera and because it is very beautiful place.
In short, I love Yerevan's centre.

Mary - My favourite place

My favourite place in Yerevan is Moscow Cinema. I like it because there are always new films there. And because there are very beautiful and interesting sculptures to take a picture with. There is a cafe and it's very convinient to sit there after watching film or cartoon.

Daniel - My favourite place

My favourite place in Yerevan is Opera and my yard. I like Opera because i see there my old friends and I like there to roller skating with my friends.
I like my yard because I play there football all day and it doesn't matter if it rains or not.

Ruben - My favorite place

My favorite place in Yerevan is Cascade. I like it becose it's near to my house and it's very neat. I like to spend my time there. It's a place with lot of white staircases and down the stairs it's a place like a park. there are lots of cafes. But I prefer to wolk with my firend and don't sseet in any cafe.

Ara - my favourite place

My favourite place in Yerevan is Operas yard. In Operas yard we drive the skate, bicekle and sometime we dance break dance. In evening I walk with my friends. I like almost everything there. 

Mike - My favourite place

My favourite place of interest is Play City, because there is carting, paintball, new carting and many computer games. It like a square.
